Charge off
When your account is written off as a loss by your creditor and sold to a collection agency. This typically happens after multiple late payment's are recorded on the account.
Collections
A collection occurs when you fall behind on the account, the creditor may send your account to a collection agency or sell it to a debt collector. This typically occurs a few months after you become delinquent, or the date you begin missing payments or not paying the full minimum payment.
Late Payment
When you miss a payment on any account thats reporting monthly to the bureaus. The late payment will appear on your credit report and continue to worsen the score each month until its resolved.
Bankruptcies
A bankruptcies is typically the most damaging negative items on a credit report. Depending on the type of bankruptcy they can remain on your credit report for up to 7-10 years starting from the dismissal or discharge date. Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcy is the most common.
Repossessions
The loss of property that usually occurs as a result of nonpayment of the debt. This can occur without any notice and after failed payments on the account.
Judgments
A judgment is a type of public record that comes about as a result of a nonpayment on a particular account. These are not reported on your credit file, but we can still help with the removal.
